SYNOPSIS:

Hotel Machine is the story of a hotel that remembers. War hotels are where journalists gather to work and live when they cover a conflict. Some of these hotels thus became famous. There were used for work and meetings but also as living places when the war went on and on. In their own way, these hotels played a role in the events. It is the place from where the war is looked at, analysed, discussed and shown by journalists. The film project Hotel Machine is a reflexion on the fabrication of war images we are used to consume without really questionning them.
